DEBTS

  • Freedom and International Justice Foundation advocates openness and disclosure in the granting of all International Monetary Fund and World Bank loans to developing states. We consider the surreptitious granting of loans to the leaders of developing states without the express knowledge and consent of their citizenry to be detrimental. FINJF will do all within its power to peacefully alter the surreptitious granting of loans to developing states. We are appealing to the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund to develop an alternative to the current loan process, as the current policy has failed woefully.
  • FINJF seeks conditional debt relief for heavily indebted poor developing states.
  • It is vital for African States to be granted debt relief in order to help revive the African economy, repair and sustain educational facilities, and to help deliver predictable health care to the general public. Some of the poor performances of existing African institutions (i.e. schools, hospitals, universities, Libraries, etc.) are due to the repayment/servicing of interest on bad loans made by international financial institutions, and the repayment of irresponsible (huge) debts accumulated by past African regimes.
